1. Agreement to Terms

By engaging Liberty Outdoor Lighting for outdoor lighting services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all services, including but not limited to landscape lighting, security lighting, maintenance, and installation services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Liberty Outdoor Lighting provides professional outdoor lighting design, installation, maintenance, and repair services. All services are subject to availability and scheduling. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel appointments at our discretion. Service areas are limited to the greater Carlsbad region and surrounding communities.

3. Pricing & Payment

All pricing is provided as estimates and may vary based on site conditions, property size, and specific requirements. Final pricing will be confirmed in a written quote before work begins. A deposit may be required to schedule installation services. Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Late payments may be subject to interest charges of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law.

4. Warranties

We stand behind our work with comprehensive warranties that vary by package level. Our warranties cover defects in workmanship and materials for the specified period. Warranties do not cover damage caused by acts of nature, vandalism, modifications by others, or improper use. Manufacturer warranties on fixtures and equipment may also apply. All warranty claims must be reported promptly in writing.

5. Property Access & Liability

Client agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the property for installation, maintenance, and service. Client is responsible for marking underground utilities, sprinkler lines, and other buried infrastructure before work begins. While we take every precaution, Liberty Outdoor Lighting is not responsible for damage to unmarked utilities or infrastructure. We carry general liability insurance for your protection.

6. Limitation of Liability

Liberty Outdoor Lighting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of certain damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee. For installation projects, cancellation terms will be specified in the service agreement. Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered.

8. Intellectual Property

All lighting designs, plans, and concepts created by Liberty Outdoor Lightingremain our intellectual property. Clients receive a license to implement the design on their property but may not reproduce or distribute the designs. All website content, logos, and marketing materials are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of San Diego County, California.
